Buggy painter 1

Carriage Painter, 1900

"I paint the carriages over at the Michigan Buggy Company. Make $2.05 a day. I live with my sister and her husband and their 6 daughters over on Vine Street. Help them out with my wages. With all those mouths to feed, they need the extra money."
