The Dining Room

Meals at the Hotel Halbrook would have been served family style, and this is the original dining room. It is the only room with metal ceiling tiles that are replacements.

The current kitchen is in the same location as the original one, but meals can no longer be prepared here. This kitchen is a catering kitchen and is frequently in use. It is believed that the room for hot baths was immediately off to the side.

Overlooking Holland Park, the dining room is a comfortable and cozy site for small gatherings, and indeed it is available for rental to accommodate family reunions, bridal showers, and other occasions. At these times local restaurants cater meals or groups bring their own food for an add-a-dish meal.

The room can also be used for programs and features a pull-down screen for video presentations.
