Study Carrels

Note: during the 2020/21 academic year, only carrels in the Mackay Room are available for use. These carrels will not be exclusive to upper-year students.

Throughout the library, you’ll find study carrels, small desks or tables with high sides that allow students to study quietly with a bit of privacy. Usually, second- and third-year law students taking courses with required papers, working on directed research, or preparing for competitive moots may reserve carrels for that term. A reserved carrel will have a schedule taped to it showing when it will be in use. Outside of those times, other library users are welcome to use it.
