Back on the path you will find the Big Lodge. The big lodge is a combination of the priest’s lodge (right) that originally stood on the rectory farm that is now the outdoor museum and a lodge from Digernäs which in 1959 was moved here from MPs Johan Olof Johansson's farm in Digernäs at Storsjön. The lodge is now used as a showroom for the two exhibitions of Beppe Wolgers.
Directly behind the lodge is the bread baking cabin. The thin bread baking cabin was built in 1995 and members of The Local Association of HomeStead community can rent it all year round. It is very popular, especially before Christmas as people start baking thin bread in the early fall.
